Mitchel Neurock is a United States Magistrate Judge with the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, serving the Corpus Christi and Victoria Divisions. Judge Neurock graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and earned his law degree from the Washington & Lee University School of Law. After law school, he served on active duty as an Air Force Judge Advocate. Judge Neurock then worked for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and in private practice in Washington, DC before joining the United States Attorney’s Office in Laredo, Texas, in 2001. Judge Neurock served as Executive AUSA for the Southern District from 2005 until taking the bench in Corpus Christi in September 2021. He continues his service in the Air Force Reserve.
