Bio Information

Chanler Langham is a partner at Susman Godfrey LLP. Langham litigates complex commercial matters for plaintiffs and defendants involving intellectual property, construction, price fixing, and breach of contract. Langham has tried and won several jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration hearings. Langham has also settled several multimillion dollar matters. Outside of court, Langham serves as a Trustee of Huston-Tillotson University and on the Board of Air Alliance Houston. Langham previously served on the Board of the Houston Bar Association and Writers in the Schools, an organization that engages children in creative writing.

Langham has been honored as Mentor of the Year by The American Lawyer, included in Benchmark Litigation’s Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer and Under 40 Hot List, listed by Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, recognized by The National Black Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer, and named to Savoy Magazine’s list of the Most Influential Black Lawyers. Langham clerked for the Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore in the Southern District of Texas, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and International Affairs from The George Washington University, and received a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
