How do I complete the Juror Form online? | ||

How long do I serve? | ||

If you are selected as a juror your service ends when the trial ends. Your summons gives you the date you need to report to the courthouse. If you are not selected upon your first appearance, you may be placed on stand-by for up to 30 days. To confirm whether you need to report, select the Reporting Instructions link above or call the jury line at 1-800-582-9109 after 6:00 p.m. the night before your summons date to confirm your appearance time and date. You will need your NINE DIGIT PARTICIPANT NUMBER to get your final reporting instructions. If you need additional information, please phone the Clerk's Office at (361) 888-3142. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. |

You may request to be exempted or excused from service or to have your service postponed. You can either select the Postponement or Excuse Request link above or put your request in writing. You must appear unless you are notified that the Court has granted your request.
