The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas requests comments on proposed amendments to Bankruptcy Local Rules 2002-1 Notices to Creditors, Equity Security Holders, and the United States, 3007-1 Objections to Claims, 3015-1 Confirmation of Chapter 13 plans and Rule 3015.1 Opt-Out, 3021-1 Payments by Chapter 13 Trustee, and new Bankruptcy Local Rule 6007-1 Abandonment of Property in Chapter 7 Cases. After consideration of all comments, and subject to abrogation by the Judicial Council for the Fifth Circuit, the rule will become effective December 1, 2017, in conjunction with the implementation of a new Uniform Plan in compliance with new Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3015.1.
