Transcripts ordered for Criminal Justice Act litigants must be ordered on the AUTH 24, Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcripts Form, in CJA eVoucher. Orders for Criminal Justice Act litigants appealing to the Fifth Circuit require both the DKT 13 and the submission of an AUTH 24 in CJA eVoucher. An AUTH 24 should be completed for each hearing requested.  The clerk’s office no longer requires the paper form, CJA24 to be submitted to the court.
