Judge Marina Garcia Marmolejo appointed United States District Judge, Laredo Division

United States District Judge Marina Garcia Marmolejo was nominated by President Barack Obama on January 5, 2011, to a seat vacated by Samuel B. Kent. She was confirmed by the Senate on October 3, 2011, and received her commission on October 4, 2011. Judge Garcia Marmolejo was administered the oath of office on October 5, 2011, and will serve in the Laredo Division of the Southern District of Texas.
