U.S. Probation, Southern District of Texas, 515 Rusk Street, Houston, Texas 77002, is looking to host a district meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas, during the dates of September 14-18, 2026, for approximately 350 staff. We will host two sessions during the week of September 14-18, 2026.

Proposals must contain an itemized price of meeting space, audiovisual equipment and food and banquet services and be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 and emailed to Terry_Thomas@txsp.uscourts.gov.

The schedule is as follows:

The first group of 175 will meet on:

September 14, 2026: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

September 15, 2026:  8:00 a.m.  to 5:00 p.m.

September 16, 2026: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

The first group will check into the hotel on Monday, September 14, 2026; and check-out on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, a two-night stay.
 

The second group of 175 will meet on:

September 16, 2026:  1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

September 17, 2026:  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

September 18, 2026: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

The second group will check into the hotel on Wednesday, September 16, 2026; and check-out on Friday, September 18, 2026, a two-night stay.
 

The below hotel services will be needed:

Meeting Space:

1. One main meeting room for 175 persons x 5 days.  Set up:  Rounds.
2. Two breakout rooms to seat 50 people in each room per day for 5 days.  Set up: Rounds.
    

Audiovisual Services

Audiovisual services will be required in all three rooms (main room and two breakout rooms).  Standard AV services are needed, i.e., LCD projector/screen, mixers, house sound, laptop hookups, podium microphone, Lavaliere microphone, etc.

Room Block

A room block is needed in support of the meeting.  Please offer the government hotel rate of $110 per night for Corpus Christi, Texas.  Rooms will be individual call-in and not attached to a master account.
