You must bring sufficient documentation to verify identity, employment authorization, obtain a building access card, and complete a direct deposit form. Fingerprinting Information: As a new employee of the Southern District of Texas, you will be asked to provide your fingerprints as part of the onboarding process. Fingerprinting is required in order to perform a background check. If you prefer, you can have your fingerprints taken before your first day of work, otherwise you will be fingerprinted on your first day. This is sometimes referred to as a “pension” that comes in the form of a monthly annuity you receive after you retire.
