Collateral Schedules

FORFEITURE OF COLLATERAL IN LIEU OF APPEARANCE

Pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 58(d) and the Court's General Orders:

  • Any person or organization charged with a misdemeanor or petty offense for which there is a published schedule may pay the amount listed in the schedule in lieu of appearance in court. The current Collateral Forfeiture Schedules for the Southern District of Texas are published below. To pay on-line: CVB Pay a Ticket page

           An index of all Collateral Forfeiture Schedules, active and inactive, may be found in Miscellaneous Case 4:17-mc-2017.

Any person or organization charged with a misdemeanor or petty offense for which there is not a published schedule MUST APPEAR before a United States Magistrate Judge.
