Erin Busby

Erin Busby, Univ. of Texas School of Law
Erin Glenn Busby heads the Supreme Court Clinic at the University of Texas Law School and is an appellate lawyer with experience at all levels of the federal and Texas state courts.  She has authored briefs in cases involving a wide range of issues, including maritime law, class action procedure, contract disputes, patent law, and administrative law.  She has a particular interest in constitutional issues faced by schools, and has filed a number of amicus briefs addressing those issues as well as issues of federalism and property rights. Ms. Busby clerked for Associate Justice Stephen Breyer of the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Michael Boudin of the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  Before becoming an independent appellate specialist, she was an associate at the firms of Sullivan & Cromwell and Bracewell & Giuliani.
