Steve Mellin has been a prosecutor with the Department of Justice for over 25 years. Mr. Mellin currently works at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas following tours of duty in Washington, D.C. and the Eastern District of Virginia. For six years, Mr. Mellin worked exclusively on federal death penalty cases, trying several to verdicts of death in Alexandria, Virginia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and most recently in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Mellin is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas.
