11/30/09 Amended Local Rules in effect on Dec 1, 2009!  District Court Local Rules and Bankruptcy Court Local Rules.
11/13/09 New Chief Judge. United States District Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa of the McAllen Division has become Chief District Judge under 28 U.S.C. Sec. 136, effective November 13, 2009, following the election to take senior status by former Chief District Judge Hayden Head of the Corpus Christi Division.
06/19/08 Warning: Parties must redact protected information from transcripts and other civil, criminal, and bankruptcy papers.

04/23/08 Under Judicial Conference Policy, effective May 15, 2008, parties will be responsible for redacting from transcripts filed with the Court, information protected by the E-Government Act of 2002, Fed. R. Civ. P. 5.2(a), and Fed. R. Crim. P. 49.1(a).
