The Judicial Conference has approved changes to the federal court miscellaneous fee schedules. Effective June 1, 2014, the following changes will take effect:

1. The filing fees for bankruptcy petitions will increase.
    a. Chapter 7 from $306 to $335
    b. Chapter 9 from $1213 to $1717
    c. Chapter 11 from $1213 to $1717
    d. Chapter 13 from $281 to $310
    e. Chapter 15 from $1213 to $1717

2.The filing fee for an adversary case will increase from $293 to $350.

3. Filing fees for motions to split or sever joint bankruptcy petitions will increase as indicated in item 1, above.

The Court has updated its Schedule of Fees to reflect these changes, and the new fees will be applied as described above to affected activity beginning June 1, 2014.
