Information Regarding Related Changes to Federal Rules of Civil, Criminal, Appellate, and Bankruptcy Procedure

Time-computation changes to the Federal Rules of Civil, Criminal, Appellate, and Bankruptcy Procedure are scheduled to take effect December 1, 2009, unless Congress acts to prevent or delay their enactment. The proposed amendments to the local rules were prompted by the time-computation changes to the national federal rules.
