Derek Hollingsworth graduated first in his class from Baylor Law School in 1997, then clerked for Texas Supreme Court Justice Priscilla Owen. A year later, he joined the Dallas law firm of Hughes & Luce in civil litigation. He then worked as a prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney’s office until 2003, when Rusty Hardin invited him to join his firm. He is now a Partner at Rusty Hardin & Associates, where he practices both civil litigation and criminal defense.
