July 30, 2015 marks my retirement from the bench after 28 years. Please accept my appreciation and thanks to my staff: Imelda Davis, Leticia Garza, Frenchie Carbia, and Kay Walker for their years of dedicated service to the Courts. Thank you also to the District Court, the Clerk’s Office and my colleagues on the bench for their support over the years.

After retirement, I will not practice law, but will open an office and accept appointments in a fiduciary capacity in bankruptcies or receiverships, such as Chapter 11 Plan Trustee, Chapter 11 Trustee, Litigation Trustee, Independent Director, Examiner, Future Claims Representative and other such assignments.

Also retiring is my career law clerk, Kay Walker, who is opening her law office after retirement. She will accept referrals for bankruptcy representation or local counsel services in Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as contract brief writing and litigation support.
