Judge Rolando Olvera Appointed United States District Judge, Brownsville Division

Nominated by Barack Obama on January 7, 2015, to a seat vacated by Hilda G. Tagle. Confirmed by the Senate on May 21, 2015, and received his commission August 5, 2015.  Judge Olvera was administered the oath of office on August 5, 2015.  He will serve in the Brownsville Division of the Southern District of Texas.
