Judge Gregg Costa appointed United States District Judge, Galveston and Victoria Divisions

United States District Judge Gregg Costa was nominated by President Barack Obama on September 8, 2011, to a seat vacated by Senior United States District Judge John D. Rainey. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 26, 2012, and received his commission on April 26, 2012. Judge Costa was administered the oath of office on May 4, 2012, and will serve in the Galveston and Victoria Divisions of the Southern District of Texas.
