The Electronic Case Filing (ECF) system for the Bankruptcy Court will be upgraded to version 3.1 on October 15, 2006. Most of the changes in the system will not affect filing users, but some will be immediately apparent.

The new version will affect attorneys for debtors most directly, with changes that reflect both the new petition and schedule forms, and the BAPCPA data reporting requirements. Practitioners who electronically file adversary complaints will also see some minor changes.

All of these changes are summarized in this document. We have added two sessions of Hands-On classes in Houston, on October 3 at 9:00AM and again on October 12 at 9:00AM. These classes will last about one-and-a-half hours.
