Applications are being accepted for the following positions:

(10-09) Probation Clerk - Corpus Christi

The Probation Clerk assists the probation officer in his/her investigation and supervision responsibilities.

(10-06) U.S. Pretrial Services Officer - Brownsville & McAllen

The United States Pretrial Services Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Pretrial Services Officer in Brownsville and McAllen, Texas.

(10-04) Systems Programmer (Software Testing) - Houston

Programmer will be responsible for software test planning, development, automation and execution for one or more software products in the consolidated court. Programmer will work closely with the Clerk’s Office, Probation Office and Pretrial Services Office in implementing technology solutions for the District.

(09-41) English/Spanish Court Interpreter - Laredo

In proceedings initiated by the United States, court interpreters are responsible for interpreting communications for defendants and defense witnesses who primarily speak a language other than English, or who do not have sufficient command of the English language to understand and communicate with the court, counsel, and probation/pretrial service officers.   Successful completion of the Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination (FCICE) and four years of interpreting experience required.
