United States Magistrate Judge Juan F. Alanis was appointed by the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, effective April 30, 2018, to a newly established magistrate judge position in the McAllen Division. Judge Alanis was sworn in by United States District Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa on Monday, April 30, 2018.
